March 2026
Sunday 29th March
Palm Sunday
Revd. Carolyn Madanat led our Palm Sunday Service today.
Our Gospel reading today – Matthew Ch 21 v1-11 detailed Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem on a donkey.
Palm Sunday is a time of mixed sentiment because, although triumphal, it precedes the marking of events which led to the arrest and crucifixion of Jesus.
It is a time for Christians to reflect on their faith and to prepare themselves for the solemnity of Holy Week, which culminates in the celebration of Easter and the resurrection of Jesus.
March – Planting
The Brownies and Revd. Sarah worked together to plant vegetables in our church quadrangle. They planted strawberries, courgettes, chard, onions, tomatoes and chilli peppers.
The Brownies were working towards their ‘ Grow your own’ badge and also helping towards the Eco church award.
We cannot wait to watch them grow. Keep a look out on the Past Events page for updates.
Thank you Brownies.
