Safe Spaces is a free and independent support service, providing a confidential, personal, and safe space for anyone who has been abused by someone in the Church or as a result of their relationship with the Church of England. Please visit their website https://safespacesenglandandwales.org.uk/  or send an email to safespaces@firstlight.org.uk

The most important point to bear in mind is, if in doubt about any  safeguarding matter contact the Chelmsford Diocesan Safeguarding Team  whose job it is to offer advice, guidance and support in all situations in which  a child or adult may be at risk. For this purpose the team can be contacted at  any time on: 01245 294444

If you believe that somebody is in immediate risk of danger or harm you should call 999 and ask for the police.
