The Aidan Players drama group who have been performing for over 20 years have made the difficult decision to disband. Membership numbers are low due to deaths and people moving out of the area, making it increasingly hard to find suitable plays to perform. Also the pandemic obviously stopped everything, and even now it’s difficult to plan too far ahead.

The plays, variety shows and pantomimes were very well received and many young people were encouraged to participate.

Money from every performance was donated to local charities.

A lot of fun and laughter was had over the years and many friendships developed which will continue even though the final curtain has come down!
