All public worship in the Church of England suspended until further notice

17th March 2020

Due to the Coronavirus, all public worship in the Church of England has been suspended until further notice.

 This means there will be no services at St Aidan’s until further notice.

 The chapel is also now closed.

Prayer and worship resources and advice are available on the Chelmsford Diocese web-site, www.chelmsford.anglican.org                                                                                                                                              and the Church of England web-site, www.churchofengland.org

St Aidan’s Halls are also closed until further notice.

The weekly Pew-slip (notice sheet), and a weekly sermon on the readings for each Sunday will still be published on St Aidan’s web-site.

A Prayer for the present situation:

Keep us, good Lord,

under the shadow of your mercy.

Sustain and support the anxious,

be with those who care for the sick,

and lift up all who are brought low;

that we may find comfort

knowing that nothing can separate us

from your love

in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Amen
