Safeguarding: the national policy, Promoting a Safer Church
Chelmsford Diocese’s Bishop’s Council has agreed that we should formally adopt the suite of House of Bishops approved Policy and Practice Guidance documents from the National Safeguarding Team in full. This new suite of Policy and Practice Guidance replaces all existing Child Protection and Safeguarding Policies issued previously in the Diocese of Chelmsford. The diocesan website has been updated accordingly.
