St Aidan’s Lent Course 2019

A Pilgrim Course, ‘The Creeds’.

Tuesdays at 10am and 7.30pm in the chapel. March 5^th, 12^th, 19^th, 26^th, April 2^nd, 9^th.

This course aims to equip us with resources for living the Christian life and understanding the faith, and for knowing God better. Details on flyer.

Lent Appeal. We are supporting the Bishop of Chelmsford’s appeal for our partner churches in Kenya.

See poster and flyers for details. Yellow Gift envelopes are available.

Lent Lunch at the Vicarage after refreshments after the 10am service on Sun 10^th March.

All welcome for a simple lunch of home-made soup, bread, cheese and fruit.

Donations will go to the Lent Appeal.

10am All-age Parade service with distribution of flowers

Palm Sunday 14th April

10am Holy Communion with reading of the Passion Story

Good Friday 19th April

10.30am Messy Church ‘special‘, with lots of crafts around the Easter theme, and Easter Egg hunt, with telling of the Easter story.

2pm An Hour at the Cross Devotional Service of readings, prayers, reflections and silence.

Easter Day, Sunday 21st April

10am Holy Communion for all ages, as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.
