Harvest Festival Thanksgiving, Sunday 4th October 2020

25th September 2020

This year’s celebration of Harvest is different to usual, due to the coronavirus restrictions.

We will celebrate Harvest at our Sunday 10am Holy Communion service on 4th October.

We are again collecting produce for Southend HARP, working to help homeless people in our local area.

The most urgently needed produce this year are:

Coffee, Sugar, Cooking Sauces (chilli, curry etc), Tinned Meat (Spam, corned beef, Ham), Tinned new potatoes, Fruit squash, Super Noodles/Pot Noodles, Cooking oil, Jars of sandwich fillings and paste, Tinned meals (curry/chilli etc), UHT milk, Mayonnaise, ketchup, brown sauce and BBQ sauce.

Produce can be left in the box in the church foyer, which is open each day, except Thursdays.

We are giving money donated to the work of Water Aid, working to supply clean water for some of the poorest communities of the world. Yellow Gift Envelopes are available in church.

Please do join us in giving thanks for all the good things we enjoy in life, and supporting those who are struggling.
