Easing of Coronavirus Restrictions

21st July 2021

St Aidan’s Church, Leigh-on-Sea, update 25th August 2021

Continuing Measures to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus

We take seriously the safety of all who wish to attend services at St Aidan’s,

and will continue to do all we can to make St Aidan’s a safe space for everyone.

As Government restrictions have now been eased, but the Coronavirus is still active, we will do the following:

We will continue to register people attending services, as it form one of the main ways of identifying people who may have been exposed to coronavirus.

From 5th September, face coverings will be optional before and after services and at the time of receiving Holy Communion.

Hand sanitizer is available for use on entry, and before receiving Holy Communion.

Holy Communion will be offered in one kind only, the bread.

We will restart refreshments after services from 5th September.

Thank-you for your help and co-operation in helping keep everyone safe.
